  • 5 ⭐️ - We were three beginners who had never surfed before. We spent 90 minutes with Joshua, and it was the perfect introduction to surfing. Good theoretic walkthrough on the beach (not too long) and loads of time on the water. It felt very safe and competent, and has us longing for more surfing! Really good vibes at the shop. Definitely do this if you’re interested. It’s hard work to learn to surf, but you get better so fast and standing up on a wave is SO REWARDING. Come on, you can do it!!!!! 😎

  • 5 ⭐️ - I can’t say enough good things about Agua Tibia! My sister and I took several lessons with Adrian, who was the best instructor we could have asked for. He was knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and made the lessons so much fun. His love for surfing, teaching, and helping others shines through in every lesson. We were so lucky to learn from him! Beyond just the lessons, the people at Agua Tibia are so kind and generous - they really made our trip special and welcomed us into their beautiful community. We can’t wait to return to Agua Tibia next time we’re in town!

  • 5 ⭐️ - I want people to know that for a surf lesson- Jose is an amazing teacher! He is so patient and encouraging!! The nephew of the owner gave me a ride back on his motorbike when my shuttle didn’t arrive- he offered it to me as a kindness. The people that work here exemplify Pura Vida and I feel so glad I chose them- it doesn’t get any better!
